Health information is sensitive information. We aim to minimise collection of sensitive information. We do not require detailed health information to access general articles, videos or newsletter content.
We may collect limited health-related information only where it is reasonably necessary for a clearly explained activity—for example, to understand broad educational needs, determine suitability for a group education format, improve course resources, moderate community safety, or respond appropriately to a question you have asked—and where you provide consent where required.

* detailed medication lists;

* general geographic information inferred from IP address, such as country, region or city; and
* error logs, performance information and security information.
This information may identify you directly in some contexts or be combined with other information. We treat it as personal information where required by applicable law.

We may collect personal information:
* directly from you when you complete a form, subscribe, download a resource, purchase or register for a Service, create an account, participate in a course or community, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us;
* automatically through cookies, analytics tools, server logs, pixels and similar technologies when you use our website or Services;
* from service providers that help us operate our business;
* from social-media or advertising platforms when you interact with our campaigns, subject to those platforms’ privacy settings and policies; and
* from another person or organisation where you have authorised them to provide your information or where otherwise permitted by law.
Where practicable, we will collect personal information directly from you.
If you do not provide personal information we reasonably require, we may be unable to provide you with the requested Service, process your purchase, respond fully to your inquiry, provide support, or enable you to participate in a course or community.
4. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose information

We will not use health-related information to make clinical decisions about you or to provide individual medical treatment advice.
We will not use your identifiable health information, personal story, photograph, video, testimonial or community contribution in public marketing without your express permission.
5. Marketing and communications
We may send you information about our articles, resources, courses, events, community and related offers where permitted by law.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by:
* using the unsubscribe link in the email; or
* contacting us at [email protected].
If you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you essential non-marketing communications, including purchase receipts, account notices, course access information, important changes to a booked Service, refund information, security notices and replies to enquiries you make.
6. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts and similar technologies to operate, secure, understand and improve our website and Services.
These technologies may be used to:
* remember settings and preferences;
* enable website functions, forms, logins and security features;
* understand how visitors find and use the website;
* measure page views, downloads, video engagement, form completions and course or campaign performance;
* troubleshoot technical problems;
* measure the performance of marketing and content;
* build audience segments or measure conversions; and
* where enabled and permitted, support remarketing or advertising measurement.
Analytics and tag-management tools
We may use tools such as Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) and Google Tag Manager (“GTM”) to understand how visitors use the website and whether our content, resources and campaigns are effective.
GA4 and GTM may collect or facilitate collection of information such as pages visited, engagement events, device/browser information, IP-derived location information, referral sources, campaign parameters and interactions with forms, videos, buttons or downloads.
We may use UTM parameters and other campaign identifiers to understand which emails, social-media posts, videos, partners or other sources send visitors to our website.
We do not intentionally configure GA4, GTM or similar analytics tools to collect information that you enter into forms about your symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, medical history or other sensitive health information.
Advertising and remarketing
We may use advertising and conversion-measurement tools provided by platforms such as Google Ads, or LinkedIn. These tools may use cookies, pixels or similar identifiers to measure campaign performance, create or reach relevant audiences, and show advertisements to people who have visited our website or interacted with our content.
We do not intentionally send health-related information, diagnosis information, symptom information, detailed form responses or other sensitive information to advertising platforms for advertising or audience-building purposes.
You can manage advertising preferences through the relevant platform’s settings and your browser/device settings. You may also be able to opt out of some interest-based advertising through industry tools available in your location.
Managing cookies
Most web browsers allow you to block, delete or limit cookies through browser settings. Some parts of the website may not function properly if you disable cookies.
Where required or appropriate, we will provide a cookie notice or consent mechanism when you visit the website. For more information about cookies we use, contact us at [email protected].
7. Who we may disclose information to
We may disclose personal information to trusted third parties where reasonably necessary to operate our business and provide our Services.
These may include:
* website-hosting, domain, security and technical-support providers;
* email marketing, newsletter and customer-relationship-management providers;
* payment processors and financial service providers;
* course-hosting, video-hosting, webinar, event and community-platform providers;
* form, survey, booking and scheduling providers;
* analytics, tag-management, advertising and conversion-measurement providers;
* cloud storage, document-management and business-software providers;
* professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, insurers and auditors;
* regulators, law-enforcement agencies, courts, tribunals or government authorities where required or permitted by law;
* a purchaser or prospective purchaser of our business or assets, where permitted by law and subject to appropriate confidentiality protections; and
* any other person or organisation where you have authorised disclosure or where disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.
We do not sell personal information, including health-related information.
We do not disclose identifiable health-related information to another course participant or community member unless you choose to share it yourself within the relevant Service. If you share information in a live group session, community space, comment section or other member area, other participants may see or hear it. Please consider carefully what you choose to share.
Some of these recipients may be located outside Australia or may use overseas infrastructure or personnel to provide their services. See Section 8 for more information.
8. Overseas storage and disclosure
We use service providers to operate our website, deliver our educational resources, communicate with users, process payments, host video content and understand how our website and Services are used.
Some of these providers may store, process, back up, support or allow access to personal information outside Australia. This may include personal information such as your name, email address, account and access information, purchase and transaction information, IP address, device and browser information, website-use information, communications with us, and information you choose to provide through forms, course activities or community features.

We may also use Google Ads and LinkedIn advertising or conversion-measurement tools in the future. If we begin using those services, they may collect or receive online identifiers, device/browser information, IP-derived location, website-interaction data and campaign-conversion information through cookies, pixels, tags or similar technology. We will update this Privacy Policy and any relevant cookie or consent notice before materially expanding this activity.
Because Content Creator Machine, Google, Stripe, YouTube and potential future advertising providers operate internationally, personal information may be processed or stored in countries outside Australia. Depending on the provider and service configuration, these countries may include the United States, and may also include other countries in which the provider, its affiliates, data centres, cloud infrastructure providers or support personnel operate.
We do not intentionally disclose detailed health information, diagnoses, symptoms, treatment information, medical records, test results or other sensitive health information to Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, YouTube, Google Ads, LinkedIn or other advertising and analytics platforms for advertising, audience-building or conversion measurement.
Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps in the circumstances to ensure that the recipient handles the information in a manner consistent with applicable Australian privacy requirements, unless an exception applies. These steps may include selecting reputable providers, reviewing privacy and security documentation, using provider contractual protections or data-processing terms where available, limiting the personal information shared, and configuring tools to minimise data collection.
For the most current information about the third-party providers we use and the countries in which personal information may be processed, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected].
9. Community and group sessions
If you participate in a live group session, course discussion, webinar, community forum, comment area or other group feature:
* your name, profile information, voice, image, questions, comments and anything else you choose to share may be visible or audible to other participants;
* live sessions may be recorded where we tell you in advance, and recordings may include your name, voice, image, chat messages or contributions;
* recordings may be made available only to authorised cohort participants or other people specified in the relevant course terms;
you should not share another person’s personal information, health information, photographs, messages or story outside the group without their permission; and
* you should not post detailed health information unless it is necessary for the relevant discussion and you are comfortable sharing it with the people who may access the group.
We may moderate group spaces and remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms, protect participants, comply with law or maintain a safe learning environment.
We cannot guarantee that other participants will comply with their obligations. If you have a concern about another participant’s conduct or a privacy issue, contact us promptly at [email protected].
10. Payment information
Payments are generally processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe.
We do not ordinarily collect or store your full payment-card number, card security code or complete payment credentials.
We may receive and retain limited transaction information, such as your name, email address, billing address, purchase amount, payment status, transaction identifier, refund status and the last four digits of a card where provided by the payment processor.
11. Links and embedded third-party content
Our website and Services may link to third-party websites or include embedded content, such as YouTube videos, social-media posts, maps, forms, payment tools or external resources.
These third parties may collect information about you according to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of external websites or platforms.
Before providing personal information to a third-party website or service, review its privacy policy and terms.
12. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, password protection, secure service providers, staff or contractor confidentiality obligations, account-security processes and technical safeguards.
However, no online transmission, storage system, email, website or platform can be guaranteed completely secure. You provide information at your own discretion and should use reasonable precautions to protect your accounts, passwords and devices.
If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will take steps required by applicable law, which may include notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
13. Retention and deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to provide Services to you, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, maintain business and financial records, and enforce our agreements.
The period we retain information depends on the type of information and why we collected it. For example:
* account, purchase and transaction records may be retained for the period required by taxation, accounting or legal obligations;
* course and community participation records may be retained while you have access to the relevant Service and for a reasonable period afterwards;
* email marketing information may be retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to any necessary record-keeping; and
information collected through analytics tools may be retained in accordance with the relevant tool settings and provider policies.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain it.
14. Access and correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, irrelevant or misleading.
To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected].
We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within a reasonable period. In some circumstances, applicable law may permit or require us to refuse access or correction. If so, we will provide reasons where required by law.
15. Privacy complaints
If you are concerned that we have handled your personal information in a way that breaches this Privacy Policy or applicable privacy law, contact our Privacy Officer first at [email protected].
Please provide enough detail for us to understand and investigate the concern.
We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and provide an expected timeframe.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
16. Children
Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18 years of age.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authority, contact us at [insert privacy/support email]. We will take reasonable steps to investigate and, where appropriate, delete the information.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, practices, technology or legal obligations.
The current version will be published on this page with the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may take additional steps to notify affected individuals where appropriate.
